Brian Gilman

The Founder & CEO who designed and invented Evolve™. He wrote patent US9476133, created 59 patent drawings, assembled the team, and forged public relations with potential customers.

Brian has been in the Power to X field for 12 years. He applied his talents from his previous career as a creative director to create his vision of Evolve™ and make it a reality. Brian has always been passionate about cleaner fuel sources,. He designed Evolve™ to create high volumes of hydrogen with non-potable water for the Green Hydrogen industry which needs to meet supply and demand faster. His extensive research into electro-conductive polymers led him to design Evolve™ based on his findings.

Spencer Teplin

Spencer has always chosen environments, both personal and public, as his focus of interest. His desire to improve the world we live in lead to his dedication to renewable energies, which began with a successful five year trial of fueling and maintaining a fleet of vegetable oil-based diesel cars.

His previous career at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory and the Watson School of Biological Sciences, spanned 30 years of experience as Shared Research Core Facility Manager. This facility handles the Sanger sequencing analysis for hundreds of scientists.

His managerial experience aids in the daily function of Gilman Industries, which he and Brian cofounded after their initial dissociation “garage” tests. His contributions to written and graphic content has helped their small company establish itself internationally and online.

Siv Almaas

Siv is the founder of Almaas Technologies Limited (Glasgow, UK), a consultancy specializing in hydrogen gas appliance development. Wider work activities cover gas quality impacts on appliance performance, and European appliance standards development including hydrogen appliance guidance PAS 4444, ISO standards development for hydrogen technologies.

Siv holds a research master from University of Strathclyde, Glasgow UK, in piezoelectric transducer modeling with associated application work in the field of sub-sea ultrasonic cavitation.

Dr. Katsuhiko Hirose

With 39 years on the front line of development for hybrid and fuel cell system engines, Dr. Hirose is the Founder and CEO of HyWealth Co., a network for hydrogen and mobility as well as an academic network for advanced material research.

As a Former Professional Partner of Toyota Motor Corporation, Dr. Hirose was an integral part of the team that created the Prius and the Mirai. He is also a WPI visiting Professor from the International Institute for Carbon Neutral Energy Research in Kyushu University.

Gilman Industries is honored to have Dr. Hirose bring his breadth of hydrogen expertise to our team.

Christopher Jackson

Chris provides leadership to early stage companies addressing air pollution and climate change in the energy and technology sectors. His career in renewables spans 20 years, encompassing the development, design, deployment and certification of Fuel Cells, Reformers, CHP, Carbon Capture, Electrolyzers, Hydrogen Refueling Stations, Energy Storage Systems and renewables integration.

With a long history of both strategy development and tactical delivery, Chris provides experience in: M&A due diligence, technology road mapping and contract, program, project, safety & systems engineering management. Chris is a Project Management Professional (PMP), a Chartered Engineer and Fellow of the Energy Institute, he holds a PhD in Fuel Cell Optimization from Newcastle University and an Executive MBA and Degree in Chemical & Process Engineering from Loughborough University.

Naoufel Menadi

Naoufel has 30 years of experience in leading businesses with strategic thinking in various engineering and manufacturing B2B plastics industry sectors, including hands-on experience in plastics materials, tooling, injection process, automation, coating and assembly.

He has led multi-site operations in Europe, Americas and Asia, and developed long-term relationships with global key account customers based on cutting edge innovations, bridging different cultures and expertise.

Based in Paris, France, Naoufel holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from Ecole Centrale of Nantes. He has also an Executive MBA from INSEAD Business School and is fluent in 5 languages. He is passionate about hydrogen leaving a carbon-free earth for future generations.

Harry W. Gottshall

Harry is also the owner of Gottshall Instrument Service, Poughkeepsie, NY since 1992, and was previously a Senior Engineering Manager at IBM's Development Laboratory in Poughkeepsie, NY.

Harry has 4 issued patents and 13 published concepts, developed for and owned by IBM. He has a FCC first class license for Commercial Radiotelephone with Radar endorsement NLA and an Extra Class Amateur Radio W2ZA.

He has a MSEE from IBMIT and Lincoln Labs, an AAS from USAFI, and is a Decorated Combat Veteran (US Expeditionary Force Quemoy & Matsu Islands)."

Cliff is the founder and president of Investment Capital Growth, a strategy and operations management consulting firm that works with senior management and CEOs to drive the process from planning to implementation and obtaining bottom-line results. He has worked with giants such as Amazon, Wal-Mart, Target, Best Buy and many other Fortune 500 brands as a global supply chain expert.

After graduating from Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT), he founded and built three successful businesses which were all sold profitably. Through his participation in Angel Fire Ventures, he is now considered an expert in financing start-ups.

Michele Gilman

Now a member of Women In Green Hydrogen, Michele honed her wide range of abilities at School of Visual Arts in NY, and School of Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, MA, earning her BFA from Tufts University. After developing award-winning interactive learning programs for LILCO, and cutting edge websites for clients including ABCTV, she taught web development at Hendriks Institute and Baruch College in New York.

Expanding her reach into Point of Sale, she developed customer-centric branding and copywriting for Trader Joe's stores throughout the northeast.

Her ability to forecast trends and see the big picture, while keeping an obsessive eye on detail, guides the brand of Gilman Industries.

Geoff Herald

A former Fire Chief for the city of Danbury, Connecticut, Geoff  has a Master’s Degree in Safety Security and Emergency Management from Eastern Kentucky University. Geoff brings us his skills consulting for Code and OSHA compliance, advising for disaster recovery operations and response planning, and emergency response training.

“I am focused on ensuring safety in all responses and operations. Providing for compliance, familiarity and safety of operators and first responders is paramount. It is in the preparation that we can prevent or reduce the impact of negative events. In working with businesses and the fire and emergency services to ensure adequate emergency response plans such as continuity of operations plans, I hope to protect the community from serious disruptions due to natural or human caused events.”
