• New Hydrogen Electrolyzer Prototypes Ready for Testing

Wednesday, July 15, 2020: Our two beautiful new Evolve™ prototypes are ready for testing at The Research Foundation for The State University of New York at SUNY Stony Brook in the Institute of Gas Innovation and Technology. I created 2 prototypes for comparison of various water sources. Prototype #1 (on the right) will be dedicated to seawater. Looking forward to getting these into the lab this week!
  • Hydrogen Testing at SUNY Stony Brook & I-GIT

8 am Wednesday, July 1, 2020: I signed an agreement with The Research Foundation for The State University of New York to begin testing at SUNY Stony Brook in the Institute of Gas Innovation and Technology. Our Principal Investigator will be Prof. Devinder Mahajan. Gilman has scheduled several series of tests to electrolyze deionized water, tap water, seawater, and a solution of potassium hydroxide. I am most excited about our […]
  • First 7-Cell unit underway.

I have to connect the electricity to the reactor core, finish the plumbing, and connect the electronics to the water level sensor and solenoid switches.  It is starting to resemble the electrolyzer we drafted up in our plans. I’m feeling good about the progress.
  • Evolve 7-Cell components arrive.

On Monday, June 29, the reactor cores for the 7 cell units arrive from RAM Engineering Solutions. These are well engineered and executed and the photos don’t do it justice. Special consideration to Focus Fabrications for all the electrical and welding the top plate for the cathode and anode connections. To Jack’s Machine Company for the fabrication of the 7-cell Anode Matrix. I especially like the honey-colored Oxygen Trap and […]
